This story was about 5 people who want to go somewhere but end up losing to their destination and when the sun was close to setting behind a range of hills by the time they reached the destination.  Suddenly they found something that it has a roof and the boys called it a cottage. They went into the cottage and checked if someone was there, and when they went inside, no one was inside. They think that maybe they can like have 1-night sleep there and when it's morning they continue walking around.  When it was their first morning in the hut, they found a shotgun and it has ammo that hasn't been used yet.

Holiday trip

On holiday I and my family went to Akaroa and we went to the restaurant and eat some delicious food. After we eat, we went to the beach and walk around and watching some good views of the beach and the mountain.  My parents take some good pictures and my brother and sister are very enjoy the place and the view. My mom said that we going to buy ice cream because it was so hot and we need something to drink but rather than drinking cold water, we buy ice cream.

Reflection Section - Wananga

Today we are blogging about any story or tv show that I watch and we have to blog it and explain what happened and like put some date when did you watch that movie. For me, I and our class was watching a guy who never gives up when he keeps failing. This is means that it shows to us no matter how hard is the work is never give up and keep trying.

Critical Literacy question: What views of the world is the text presenting?

Denzel Washington explains in the videos that we will fail at some points in our lives, that's very true, people not born to be perfect.  He also said that in like an acting business you will fail all the time. His videos show to the people who watch the videos that never give up even you wanted to give up, just keep trying until you get what you want. He also trying to say even that career that he went in, even it's hard he didn't quit or even fallback.

Protection the Environment

So today what we did on Social Studies is picking up rubbish around the school by using a bucket and like a holder so we cant use our hands to pick up the rubbish. So we have to be in a team by picking up rubbish, My team was Khush, Kaedun, Aryan. First, we did is we went to the basketball court and picking up the rubbish, We work as a team like no one does anything all of us picking up rubbish and put it on the bucket. 

We made the bucket full in the basketball court and we went back to the class and get another bucket, We went to the other basketball court the new one because what we went to before was the old basketball court. We usually play handball on the side of the new basketball court and our ball always went to the bushes and those bushes it was lots of rubbish so we decided to go there and pick up all the rubbish there and it was so windy some of the plastic flew away. After that it was full and we had to back to our class because the windy is very very anoyying. 

The Corrosion Expirement

Hello, guys today blogging about a science experiment that we did this week, I was with my friend Khush while doing the experiment so we have to have like 5 test tubes that we need to use and like there is a letter from A to D. We have to put an iron nail in each test tubes and put like salt but not in the same test tube.

 Corrosion:

When metals are exposed to the environment they can deteriorate, or break down. Scientists call this process corrosion, Rust is the term used to describe the corrosion of iron.

Aim: To investigate the factors that cause rusting in iron.

Equiptment: Four test tubes, test tube rack, a bung, four iron nails, boiled water, tap water, salty water, cooking oil, calcium chloride. 

Method:  

1. Label four test tubes A - D and place them in a  test tube rack.

2. Test tube contents: 

A = Iron nail and tap water

B = Iron nail and salty water.

C = Iron nail, boiled water. oil

D = Iron nail and calcium chlorides. Sealed with a  bung.

3. Leave the test tubes undisturbed for at least three days.

Protecting our planet

This week we have been learning about climate change like what we know about climate change and also we have to list some positive and negative in our planet but today we have to blog post about negative  climate change at least 3 things.

• Plant more trees
• Reuse as much as possible
• Picking up rubbish
• Recycle when you can

Here is some positive that I found in the Happy Broadcast

Narrative scene story -English

 

He emerges from his wildfire house and watches the flames consume it; the shock of losing his home cause him to reflect on what truly happened. The fire is all over around his house. He can’t go inside the house and get the things that he needed. If he goes back inside the house and gets the things he needs, he dies and burns himself.

He rapidly got his phone call from the fire station. He can feel his face burning and hands that never get rid of it. He said to himself that ‘’lucky there is no house besides in my house because if there, the fire will spread out into another home, it will get worst.

While he was standing and looking at the fire burning his house. He thinks about her things inside the home that he spends a lot of money on it, like a computer, Refrigerator, Coach, Tv and more other things. He feels disappointed and shameless himself about how the fire causes. His eyes were full of tears and anger.

The fire truck arrives at the location. Fireman asks him how does the fire causes because the fire is big and it’s all over the house. The guy said ‘’I leave the oven to turn on while I was cooking a scrambled egg. I went to the bathroom then came back to the fire all over the kitchen. I have to run to the door and get out’’. It says it takes more than 20 minutes to get rid of the fire. He went back to the house. Things are burned and turn black.

He said to himself, ‘’Lucky I put my credit card and my phone in my pocket before. I  left the house. I still have money, but not enough to buy a new home and buy things for my home. So he decided to withdraw all the money in his bank account and rent a house. The guy who lost a home because of the fire was fast, runs like a cheetah who hunts gazelles for food.
