Hurumanu - Solar Energy


Aim: To find out which colour attracts the suns heat.

Hypothesis:   


Materials:

  1.  2 plastic cup
  2.  1 paper
  3.  2 thin  foil
  4.  2 black plastic bag
  5.   Thermometer
  6.   Heat lamp
  7.  Water
  8.  styrofoam cup
  9.  Electricity

Steps

  1.  Get all the equipment that u need.
  2.  Prepare the 2 plastic cups and 1 styrofoam.
  3.   Wait for your teacher to put the water on your cups.
  4.  turn on the heat lamp.
  5.   Use the thermometer on the cups
  6.  Wait until 1 minute then put how many cm

Conclusion


U can see in this picture the heat lamp was looking at the cups, We worked in 4 groups, my groups is Khyle, David, and Khush.  We follow the instruction and we did well in our science experiment. In the finding, there is the result what we did and why we need the cups and all the material.  We need to time 1 minutes and then after 1 minute, we put the thermometer on the cups and time 1 minute again after 1 minute put up the thermometer and then check how many degrees.








Activity:

In pairs rate the livability of coal vs solar energy.

Comparing Coal energy with Solar energy ( Rate; 1 = poor to 10 = great)
