The Happy Broadcast

According to the happy broadcast here is the 2 things that I want you guys to know about the earth. I get some information and put it on my blog

1.  Wildlife success story! In 1994, California banned indiscriminate fishing nets and now porpoises (once killed by the 100s) have more than tripled their population.

In California, decades of commercial sea bass and halibut fishing killed thousand of other coastal animals ( as many as 300 harbour porpoises per year may have been killed!). Outraged by the deaths of sea otters and diving seabirds, voters in the state banned many of the nets from near- coastal water starting in 1994.

2.  Plogging is a fitness trend that originated in Sweden and means to pick up litter while jogging. It not only takes care of the environment but keeps the 'bloggers healthy too. Let's do it!

All you need is a jogging outfit and a trash bag (maybe some gloves too). It is a cost-efficient way to propel environmental activism and this is something that you can do today. Plogging focuses on picking up garbage that you see on a run, thus incorporating squats into your workout and environmental benefits.
