Significance of WW1

Hi guys, Today im reflecting on Anzac day and lots of many questions I have to answer and 1 of them is why does Anzac day is important and the songs, so ill be answering this question today.

When do you hear this music? Anzac Day- Sunday, 25 April and Monday, 26 April

Why this song significant/important to New Zealand? We remember those first Australian, who joined and fight and died, we remember the fighting first Australians. The song has a strong theme of shared fear in combat.

What is the History behind the last post - why was it played and when? It played because Anzac day is really important to celebrate in Australia/Newzealand lots of army serve their life just to save our country and protect our country from there enemy Turkish and Ottoman empire.

What does this song represent?

Is the national day of remembrance for all Australian/Newzealand who served and died in all wars. Anzac day was first observed in 1916. The day has gone through many changes since. The ceremonies that are held at war memorials up and down New Zealand, and in places overseas where New Zealanders gather, are modelled on a military funeral and remain rich in tradition and ritual.
