Hurumanu Chemistry - The feet can measure the height

THE FEET CAN MEASURE THE HEIGHT

The bones of the feet can tell a lot about a person. What do feet reveal about a person's height? Forensic anthropologists team up with law enforcers to help solve crimes.
Bones of the feet can reveal an interesting fact about an individual. Let's combine math with forensics to see how.

Aim:  To use forensic science techniques to measure the height of a criminal.

Material:

  1.  Long 1-metre wooden ruler
  2. Yourself

Steps:

  1.  Get a 1-metre ruler.
  2.  Measure your shoe (cm) or height.
  3.  Vice versa, height or shoe.
  4.  Record your measurements.
Findings:

Name
Foot  (cm)
Height (cm)
Jv24cm155cm
Khush28cm168cm

Divide the length of each person's foot by his/her height. then multiply it by 100.

Khush-   16.6
Jv-   15.4

Conclusion:

This was very fun,  I help Khush to check his height and foot length after I help him, then Khush helps me to check my foot length and my height.  What I also learn is that the number that I got is (15.4 - min) is for police to know our height. If we give our number height to the police they well know our height. it was very kind of weird but it's a lesson that they give it to us.

My foot size is ( 24cm) and Khush foot size is (28cm). My height is (155cm) and Khush height is (168cm). So our teacher said that you're (foot length divide your height x 100)
